Can I use a display port cable and use hdmi adaptors on both ends. My tv says it supports 4k@120hz and my laptop is a 144hz but have the same problem with it only showing 60hz unless I drop down to 1080 😢 please help. Will display port cable with hdmi adapters work the same. Neither my laptop or my tv have display ports or dvi ports 🤷🏻‍♂️

hi I need your help. I installed linux mint deviants edition 5 on my external hdd but I cannot find my ntfs partition on the external and my main ntfs partition on the pc's internal hard drive when I boot with the lmde 5. but it shows me the other linux partitions I have on both internal and external hard drives in the devices section. I also went to the file system section of the lmde 5 I installed and I found an EFI folder which when I opened was showing the content of my internal window xp partition as folders within this same folder. but I cannot find all the ntfs partitions either external or internal to mount. but my lmde 5 is set to automount all devised or drives or partitions whichever you want to call it to list in devices. but not showing. Any help please? one thing I also noticed is I don't have any efi or swap partition created on my external hard drive partitions. but the grub is installed on the external hard drive.

HDMI 2.0 to HDMI 2.0 should work fine too.

What if the create dynamic disk option is shaded out??? This is also the case with the Add Mirror option (it too is shaded out). Frustrating.

On my gigabyte laptop i dont have this option in bios fix?

Dynamic disks have been deprecated from Windows and Microsoft does not recommend using them anymore. Microsoft recommends using basic disks or using the newer Storage Spaces technology when you want to pool disks together into larger volumes. The Dynamic Disks feature is no longer being developed and will be fully replaced by Storage Spaces in a future release. Also, every time you want to use a dynamic disk on a new computer, or even if you just remove and put it back in, you will have to manually import the dynamic disk. Changing a dynamic disk back to a basic disk requires the dynamic disk data to be deleted. Although you can use software like EaseUS to safely convert a dynamic disk to a basic disk without data loss. And one last thing, MBR = 4 primary partitions while GPT = 128 partitions. MBR should not be used for a new disk.

idk why but on windows the fonts etc always look so much better on a skaled monitor size rather than on 100%/native scaling.

My problem is my C:Drive on a basic disk. I have no room and no volume to remove (no unallocated space). I want to extend the C drive........HOW??? OKay so I can take my 450Gigs unused on my JDRIVE, basic disk, convert it to dynamic and then add it as a folder??
